SAVANNAH – Helen Rose Watson, 81, died Thursday, October 21, 2010, at her home on Isle of Hope.
The Charleston, SC native retired as a librarian from Perimeter College in Atlanta before moving to Savannah in 1992. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband, Walter G. Beasley III of Savannah; a daughter, Eileen B. Brady of Savannah; three sons, Walter G. Beasley, IV of Vero Beach, FL, Hugh F. Beasley and David L. Beasley, both of Atlanta; six grandsons; a granddaughter; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel, on Sunday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm with a Rosary Service at 6:00 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 25, 2010, at St. James Catholic Church.
Interment will follow in Catholic Cemetery.
